Blood Pact (very pic heavy!)

Righto, i have been very slowly working on a 40K army for awhile now, so i thought i would show every one the progress

Well then whats this blood pact? well they are a renegade guard army from the Gaunt's Ghost novels written by Dan Abnett and if you haven't read them then have a little nosy over HERE to know all about them.

Where else am i getting inspiration from apart form the GG books? theres a few blogs around like ones from CMDante , Col.Gravis and Dave Taylor .

Enough talk eh? on to what your really want the pictures Very Happy

this was my first/test model, was happy how the grotesque came out seeing as i wasn't too sure about my sculpting skills.

The i moved on to some random troops and HQ models

And here they are painted, i have added more weathering after i had taken these pictures.

my idea for the banner was that it is captured imperial scripture that has been defaced by chaos Just Kidding

These guys can pass by Imperial Renegades EASILY! How did you do the banner scriptures? By hand?

Well good too see Blood Pact (down with the pact! down with chaos!) gets put in too mini form..... I like em! Wich comeing from me is saying something. Btw is it ok for me to steal the dead guardsmen's paint sceems??

Anywho, i have a small update for everyone today, just some WIP pictures of some more dudes. mainly just gotta do some GS work and add some webbing to them, but i thought i would share them.

Freakin' sweet conversions! Been reading Gaunts Ghosts for awhile now & I love to hate the Blood Pact. Only in Death was gripping & I can't wait to read Blood Pact.

Are the Blood Pact a army list in the latest WH40k rules , if so what Codex are they in ? If not, what list/codex did you use to create them ?

How you have found the time to do all of this mind blowing work I'll never know!
The conversions are perfect you are a master of green stuff and your painting is fantastic.
Definitely want to see how those WIPs turn out.
