As 'someone' requested here's a tutorial on the blood and gore I used on my Ogryn Prisoner (Sorry about the HUGE pictures):

First take an unused base. Those silly square bases you sometimes end up with works great.
Then mix 1 part PVA glue and one 1 part Blood Red:

Then take a little bit of sugar (!) and mix it up in your yummi red paste:

Aply on the object of your affection. A big ass cleaver works wonders:

Let it dry. Remember that the PVA takes longer to dry than paint so have patience.
Apply a decent amount of the good ol' Red Ink and let it dry. Again, ink takes longer to dry, so have a bit more patience.

And your done!

If you have any questions feel free to ask Very Happy

Cheers

Have you ever tried the tamiya clear red mixed with black ink and this method?
I would assume you couldn't use the pva though or it would ruin the effect of the clear red color

@ Dysturbed: Would water effects act as a substitute for pva in this case? They should both dry clear though.
