| Umm...err...well....it was a very complicated....Kroot when down. We made it to turn 8 and with only 3 models left on the board we "Flew the Coop"!

| Were you using the new routing rules? or did you actually pass all those tests? |

They sure did!!
At the end of turn 8, Da Bank was in a very poor tactical position. Basically his three guys were either knocked down, or standing out in the open and faced with a bunch of Eldar who would do nothing but gun them down where they stood.
It was a good game, with very little tactical mistakes on either players part. No rule questions came up, which just goes to show that the rules as they stand are very robust.
It was great to see Jd3 get back in the game. _________________ Adeptus Astartes Commandments 1. Thou shalt not replace the Librarian's staff with a magic wand. 2. | Yes, as Dozer noted we went with the new routing rules and having played 6+games with them they are solid. I chose to stay in the game as long as I could. The Eldar had me behind the 8 ball by turn 3 as I had three models OOA. I did manage to get the store owner to agree that he had sold me dice last summer that had a spell to make them good for only one year (as I only roll ones and twos now) so I would have to purchase new dice. I told him "thanks" and I will be purchasing fresh dice next week. It was absolutely crazy the amount of 1's and 2's rolled but if I needed low numbers I would roll high. LOL Yes, it was great to have JD3 back playing again as he is part of our original DS group. It was a fun time as we made jokes about the Eldar, Kroots and Eldar again. Did you know that most Eldar wear boots made by Prada? |

| Yes, JD3 tried out something on the Eldar pea shooters. It worked well. |

| thanks. I have had a hard time writting about the Kroot as they are in playtesting mode and not playing a campaign to see them grow. I will keep taking pics and hopefully down the road I can back into writting mode. I am glad you liked the pics. |

| HEy sorry I missed this thread. I've been crazy busy and been out of town 3 1/2 of the past 5 days.
Two words sum up the game: Chicken Nuggets. =)
Poor Da Bank: pity him for his dice HATE him. The game would have been very different if he had rolled a single critical, especially when I rolled at least 8.
A very fun game and I am glad to be back in the DS swing of things.
I did try one thing new with the Eldar and I hate to be a tease but until it has had some more play testing it won't be posted about in the public section... yet. It is something I think Eldar players will think is appopriate even though it will make recruitement decisions that much harder.
I also have a list of potential change ideas that will require some testing in the future. |

| Chicken Nuggets! HA!
We have to do something for Da Bank... maybe arrange a blind-date for him & his dice. Some flowers, chocolate & wine... maybe some counseling! I think I could convince the people of V.I.S.I.O.N. to pay for the date... you know they do ANYTHING to save the snakes! | |
