Anyhoo I know i posted this in the Wip thingy but Mord seemed to want us to do it here so, here we go.

The piece I did for the prisioner exchange was a Dire Avenger Exarch using only regular dire avenger parts. The only reason he is a exarch is cause he is so bad ass he ripped a space marines head off with the spine still attached and probably spit down the hollow hole he left behind.

The model it's self was posed dynamicly to the repersent the Eldar Aspect Warrior contemplating his place in the universe and why he must have killed this poor soul when his people would have rather worked with them. At every turn the Imperium of Man has shoved the eldar asside and called them Xeno when they could have taught mankind so much. The Eldar instead forced to fight mankind at every turn to try to stop them from slipping into the ruinous hands of Chaos. "Alas poor Brother Octavious, I knew you not at all. For thine was a path of ingnorance and greed of the gallaxy. I was forced to kill then in thine own stupidity. Alas Octavious."

He was is a prisoner because he was captured shortly after this scene by the Dark Angels Chapter. He was set to be held for a lifetime for the death of a Marine soldier. But instead was executed by the battle brothers of the warrior he killed. Those brothers went renegade and turned to Chaos and are now hunted by the Raven Guard. Irony eh?

I hope the recipiant enjoys this piece as much as I enjoyed building it. It was a fun project.

Fantastic, I always thought dark and gritty Eldar was an oxymoron I stand corrected.
