| Yes,
that was what I planned for her! I gave her the gunfighter skill and equipped her with two shurikenpistols. Haven't played this configuration yet, but the next match will tell if it works. The avengersights will have to wait until I have one or two more guardians and some more helmets for my squad, though.
An Avenger with Shurikencatapult, the marksman skill and avengersight would be much more efficient and reliable, but I like this model too much, will definately include her!
Same problem with my leader, I made a model with two swords, so I equipped him with a powersword, another sword and no gun. Because I like the model the way it is. No surprise, he's not too efficient. Hasn't taken a single enemy OOA in six games! He caused many stuns and knockdowns, but that's it. He's pretty much the worst officer in my squad, he was taken OOA in two games and missed one because of injury!
My next exarch will definately be less close combat oriented!

| Can't use marksman skill with the Shuriken Catapult. It's not a rifle it'a assult weapon. (this needs clarified in the rulebook) ahh strap a Shuriken Catapult to his back so he can switch to it. lol |

| Here's also the first model with paint on it! Ignore the unfinished base! How do you guys like the colourscheme? The highlights make the red gore look a bit pinkish, but I think the scheme is nice for the guardians. Officers will be painted differently. |

| Thank you Lord Greywolf,
I'm sure you could achieve the same result, the techniques are quite easy, it's basically just layering. Thin down the colours with lots of water and gradually add the layers. There plenty of good tutorials on the web.
I thought this one was especially helpful, more or less did it the same way: http://www.paintingclinic.com/operations/eldarproject/basicsguardians.htm
It's not skill but patience, it took me about 20 hours to paint this dude! But it was the first one of my squad and I had to figure out which colours to use. The next batch of models will be quicker!

| Some great conversions. The painting on that guardian is fantastic well worth 20 hours of your time, can't wait to see how the rest turn out. |

| Nice colour scheme (good to see a different take on red). The quality of the paint job is superb - and for me it really stands out on the catapult -that is ace all round. 20 hours! (but it shows in the result). I agree with you that improving your painting often has more to do with patience, than skill (and looking at tutorials around the net) and then give it a go (with a few hideous casualties along the way ). Look forward to the rest of them! Cheers Laney |

| Thanks all! You liked the guardian? You'll love this girl! I especially like how the powersword turned out. Again took me more than 20 hours, at this rate I'll never finish my squad! Maybe I should cut back on my perfectionism to some extent. Cheers Bernhard |

EVER! Everyone... chant with me... Tu-to-rial... tu-to-rial... tu-to-rial... tu-to-rial... tu-to-rial... tu-to-rial... tu-to-rial! I definetly want to drink from THAT fountain of knowledge. WOW!!!! Don't you EVER cut on that perfectionist trait! _________________ . The Mordheimer - Death Squads' Chief Editor & Ninja Designer. Bursting with ARACHAS' Dev-Powahâ„¢! | Thanks man! No need for a tutorial here, this was made using basic techniques, nothing fancy, mostly layering! There's plenty of good tutorials on the web: painting in general: http://www.paintingclinic.com/MainOperations.dwt.htm NMM: http://www.jenova.dk/NMM.htm http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/kb.php?mode=article&k=175 But the secret ingredient is: time! ~20+ hours per model! There's no way I could paint a mass army like this! |

| Awesome power sword - I love the NMM and the whole colour scheme works superbly to tie in the banshee with the guardian. Patience is definitely a virtue in this case. Well done! Laney |

| That is amazing. The power sword is fantastic, the blending is seamless, and the nmm effect is nice and subtle. Great job! |
