The warthogs we finally made and sent out on a mission in a ruin city on the world of Pavonis to investigate a unusual activity around a Imperial Guard base. The Squad was set although Cricket, grasshopper, and Balthazar couldn't join them do to a certain secret mission. Deacon and Crisp were gladly willing to accept this mission. They arrived with a squad of the following with auto guns 2 flamers and the officers having lasguns flak jackets helmets hot shot power pack






Deacon and his squad arrived at the site seeing nothing but ruined buildings as they were walking Deacon said keep an eye out for anything unusual before he could finish a lasgun shot hit the flamethrower in front of him making him fall face down after that an infantrymen was hit to and also fell face down. Crisp yelling "I see the the scum who shoot them" while running behind cover. "There in that building to the left!"





"What are these things asked an infantrymen?"


"There Kroot and those are stalkers, and there assholes!" Said Crisp

"Can it Crisp we have more charging right at us i can only see a few i see some hounds and seems to be a good bit of infantry." yelled Deacon

as this was happening Deacon ran into a building and the 2 downed Hogs turning face up and crawling towards the closest cover to them



Deacon then told his men to move forward to meet this aliens in combat. his squad formed a line of fire power. (or so he thought)







the Hogs unloaded every round they had but killed nothing they either missed or grazed the aliens

the kroot advancing forward came shooting pack and as this happened a kroot with wings flew over head and landed on a Valkyrie bad





the kroot dealing a good bit of shots taking down 2 to 3 infantrymen,not all of them always landing face up ready to get back up again 2 went out of action as they did the other 2 hogs stood ( the infantrymen and the flamer) and moved into cover and shot with the flamer at the stalker making one go face down.








as the kroot with the wings was on the pad deacon took a shot at him and missed, but i had a surprise for his kroot on the other side of the field a flamer and a infantrymen were sneaking on the flank



having done this will be great the kroot were all in a line for me i just had to take care of his kroot hound first.

the kroot then shot at the Hogs missing them all

and the Hogs advanced forward and shot back




the kroot with wings then flew on a container beside Crisp but a flamer was right behind the kroot ready to torch success! he wounded and put him out of action then a few infantrymen shot at a kroot hound putting it out of action as this happened the Hog that was with the flamer on the flank shot down the other hound making it face down this happening my flamethrower got in a got spot and hit three kroot killing the hound almost instantly and putting a kroot face up with the other hits.

kroot recovering from there lost making a hound get in close so i have to shoot it and it worked great

i had to focus 5 Hogs on this one hound finally taking it out of action.
as this happened i noticed the kroot were together perfect for my flamer



my flamer hitting 3 again but only wounding one...............(the kroots commander the shaper!!) and putting it out of action this making the kroot take am morale and failing making the kroot run away and the Hogs victorious.

after the game the shaper rolled a full recovery

i started out with detail in the report but had to wrap it up ill have to put the other details in the game when ihave more time but fill free to ask me stuff about the game and ill answer your questions

HAHAHA!!! Looked like a fun game... Flamer moments are specially cool. You guys seemed to have eaten some dirt early one... what was the post-game results for your guys? KFC Kroot? Sound like Da Bank was playing! Also... what Regional Platoons are the Warthogs? I forgot.

i didn't get anything good just 90 credits back but i also didn't loose any models so i guess that's the good part

Ya Mords right. Going with the Catachan means you must have some sneakyness and guile to get the job done.
Me I use my sergeants ("Hard Fist" and "Pin Eyes") along with my captain ("Dead Head") as a distraction wile my lieutenants ("Pig" and "'Skin Scalper") sneak up and stab my foe in the back. I can also use this plan in the reverse, getting the liuetenants (and ogryn) in the thick of it and then sneaking my sergeants and captain around back or up high to to drop frags on the foe.

Yes, he was playing against me (KFC Kroot) and it was fun.

His medic helped out in the first game as he had two models go OOA. One rolled successful recovery and the other failed but Doc brought him back. I lost two dogs after the first game and sapped 60 credits to get them back.

The 2nd game ending me routing on the 3 turn as I was at 25% casaulties and I failed the test by rolling 11.

The 3rd game went a bit better but I had almost have my squad on and after rolling injuries the squad will need to be redone.

Even though the Catachans are better at HTH they shooting proved to be tough for the Kroot to get through. It was some fun games.

The name for my flying Kroot is "KIWI". A flightless bird.

all in all i had a great time seeing how the game is played and seeing the cool things u can do its alot different then 40k but in a great way in 40k your about to play someone and u ask what army there using u can tell right there what kind of things theyll be using this game on the other hand is way different for one each guy can have something else which is badass your officers will have different things instead of the usual like 40k i guess what im saying is in 40k must of the time people use the same things in armies and in this game it seems to be always different which i love, you never no what your going to face up... just get ready for my new squad im working on...... heres a little hint for ya (Klaw)

I am very afraid (klaw). I will be revamping.

Mark and Aaron both said they will be playing next Saturday. Mark wants to play Mordians which is perfect as no one has had a chance to really play them at the moment and the Hired Gun for the Mordians is being worked on so we can play test to gain valuable field experience.


I am not sure what armies Aaron has but I am sure we can get some something worked out.

Kiwi died to the shots fired from the Medic. Good times.
