Just to be pedantic, "Angles of Change" does sound far sillier than "Angels of Change," but neither quite seem Nurgle-y to me. You want to invoke not , right?

Why not play up their leader's personal history, after all, Chaos Space Marines are as often as not cults of personality and individually led warbands rather than great formal organizations. I suggest Sickness of Sanguinius, Bleeding Angels, or Blight Angels.

I agree with what your saying - originally they were going to be tzeentch based Imperial Renegades and then I changed my mind to Nurgle (but didn't change their name). The chaos marine isn't actually their leader, he is pegged for the chaos cultists (when I get the rules). I posted him here because i didn't want to start a fourth painting and modelling thread just for him.

The commander of these guys is Tiberius Angelus Simmersen (a mutant aristocrat with rotting wings). So I'm really looking for a non-angel nurgle name.

The buzzsaw is an upside down sentinel heavy flamer (old one) and a bit from the ork 'ard boyz set

sweet job on the truescaling - it turned out really well! I think truescaling is an interesting idea, and a good way to go for any sort of marines in since it really drives home just how massive these guys are supposed to be!

Deathguard: Thanks - I was pleased with how Septicaemius (the Nurgle Blood Angel) turned out. The only bit that was a disappointment was the object source lighting on the power fist, which looks more like green ooze close up.

He was my second truescale effort. i've now got a squad of truescale loyalist blood angels in the works (there's a thread in painting and modelling somewhere, which has my first go on as well). The first marine Sergeant Nathanael is almost finished (paint job and everything) and there a five more part done + a terminator (in pre heresy armour).
