More than a month. Hehehe... We are working on Core Rules compilation (complete re-write) and then we will organize all the Codexes (Codexii?) for publication._________________ . Make sure you could see the Nob, some 'Ard Boyz, a Painboy, Boyz... maybe a Gretchin or two! (or 12!) Then you could take pics of the Orks in 'action'. Be creative! | That is EXACTLY the point!! Some people do not have the time, talent or energy to write stuff... but they could make TLRB a better (more professional) manual. Also, how many of us dream to have OUR models and art on a game? No offense, your painting skills are great and all... but I will not hold my breath waiting to see your models in the next 40k book.
Instead... this is OUR chance! We want good models, but we would put the BEST effort that REAL players share. Just like The Prisoner Exchange... you do your honest best, and we will share it.

| The correct plural form of codex is 'codices'.
What kind of changes are we looking at for the Eldar (winkies) squad? I still haven't managed to get a game in with my guys. |

big change has already been announced it will be Aspect Temple based, so the exarch, aspect warriors and Warrior Aspirants are all going to be the same Aspect Temple. No more mix and match.
Beyond that lots of changes, I think the only thing I haven't touched so far is the Guardians.
Kom the only thing I care is that the list is something you can make with the starting points you are given. After that I'm cool with it.

I approve!
So, looking at my squad; (a) do they look like they'd be a buildable starting squad under the new list?, and (b) would photos of that squad be useful to you? I think I remember seeing somewhere that Striking Scorpions are your favourite aspect so you probably have them covered, but if you have _most_ of the aspects covered and would like some variety in painting style I can try to get some useful shots of my guys. |

| Your spiritseer would probably have a staff in the new version but other options could be there. (not far enough with that unit to tell you anything for sure)
The Aspect Warriors would be wearing helmets in all likelihoods. (it's part of their fluff)
Warrior Aspirants only become true aspect warriors when they can wear the helmet of the aspect and fully be accepted by the armor. Main character in path of the warrior almost suffocated because he put it all on and wasn't ready yet.
That is the only stuff that popped out at me. But I'm far from done with the squad still.
I would use these in the book though still. I think you need to get them on some nice eldar terrain though (wink wink nudge nudge)

| Yes, I don't have any good terrain at the moment. I'll work on that.

| Wow... I'm involved with the Eldar changes and I STILL have no idea of what you guys are talking about! I know that Dysturbed can point to all the posts where all this is explained (and I have acknowledged to understand)... but I feel lost!  The only thing I can say... the attention to detail that Dysturbed is putting to make the Eldar feel 'Eldar' is outstanding. We have been reading info from Rogue Trader!!!! The man knows his Space Fairies... and is making a great job to make them feel and play right. Can't wait until the Codex is organized so I can finally make sense of all the discussions (right now, I take one topic at a time) and see Dysturbed's big picture. He is redefining some Units, adding new ones, re-organizing the Depot... all great changes and revisions. If you are a fan of the Eldar, you will LOVE the new revision. Get it? Love the Eldar? Meh... not that good. I guess the Eldar are starting to grown on me. GASP!!!! That was bad... Eldar... growing... on me?!? I better quit.
