| allrighty, now that i have my recipient (mwahahaha!!) i can get my log started. i really wanted to wait till i knew who i was getting so i could build a piece that would slide right into their favorite squad or at least fall into the model "style" that they prefered. ..... ya that didnt happen . so now im gonna start somehting totally new. now i will warn you guys, my skills are not nearly on par with most of you, but i do well enough i suppose, and im going to take this chance to try some new stuff! in any case, pics soon. |

| Hey Lydor... remember this is about YOU pushing your skills to the breaking point. Leave those crazy sculptors and painters to push their skills (and inspire us!)

| well, i really really wanted to make something off my recipients list of prefrences. they were less than specific with their wants which left me a very wide range for what to make, so then i started looking at what squads they used in their battle reports. So now i am torn on whether to just come out and ask them what they want or make this pretty cool idea i have for a renegades Apostate Preacher...which they may or may not use if they dont run a renegades squad. I find i would want them to use it more then display it you know? would love to see my prisoner in some battle report pics! Also my dog might have eaten my camera.....sounds so weird saying "my dog ate my..." and mean it lol. so now i am trying to figure out how to upload a pic from my phone to get it to the forum, soon as i get that ill have some pics up of the preacher for you guys. ---EDIT--- test pic, unassembled apostate preacher! |

| ok so i nearly have the model done. for some reason i havent been able to get ahold of much greenstuff, so the modeling has been slow. now compared to most of you guys my prisoner is gonna be fairly simple, but i am trying several new things with base texture and whatnot and i suck at greenstuff...but in any case, i need imput from you awesome people out there,
My apostate preacher needs a small and very cost effective diaroma, i had built him coming out of a planet prison gate, but it came out looking tacky and unrealistic so i scrapped it. any ideas for his base? |

| Too bad the pics are missing focus because that model is looking really interesting! A great build as far as I can say! |

| ARRGGGHHH. well, given the extended time alotment i went back into trying to create a diarama for my model, but i just cant pull this one off. Maybe its because i dont have access to the resources available...but i dunno, running out of time again.
i hope its ok, but i may just try to do the best paint job i can on a lone solo 25mm base model(as pictured above) and really hope my recipient likes it!
anyway, pics soon. |

| Lots of character on the model. I don't think a diorama is required in the event entry. One 25 mm base model is all that is required. |

| HAHAH! I love the idea of an Apostate... show PICS! HINT: Put the model in front of white paper/background to force the camera to focus on the model. Place the camera phone 2-3 feet away... then use Picasa to crop and auto-correct. _________________ . The Mordheimer - Death Squads' Chief Editor & Ninja Designer. Bursting with ARACHAS' Dev-Powah™!
