| I decided to start two projects for P.E. I would like to finsh the modeling part before February 13th, when my short holiday ends. I think I can manage painting somehow, ut the modeling part takes to much time. So about the two possible prisoners (I will decide which one to finish after I know the recipient). First is former IG-man. I think IG player should be still able to use him, but he is intended to be on Renegades side. I already made tha upper part of him (most of the conversions there) and now I am waiting for legs from my friends bitz-box. I equiped him with chainsword and hellpistol. He also has a bionic arm and will get some eye implant (something Borg-like). I also found some old guitar strings, so I'll use them on some pipes and cables. I also decided to go beyond my experience and sculpt him a coat. You know, some badass long coat. I hope I'll be able to manage it I usually used greenstuff for filling or making some minor things. But as it was said somewhere in the first post of PE2012 - we should try what we haven't tried before, right? The second project is not exactly a prisoner - because who would capture and imprison the Trash-kan, right? Inspired by moggd's trash-kan, I decided to use the paint bottle. I want the inside to be visible (so you can see the wired-in grot ). Also it's going to be in the middle of a testing so some grots will be dancing around with tool's and trying to make some final adjustments. But you know Orkz - there is no better testing field the in the middle of battle. Our little grots should better be really carefull about where they stand, or they might find themselves right under the "might" stomping foot of the Kan. This project is challenging because I never tried to make a machine from the (s)crap - and this model really requires it There is something already finished on the Kan. I have the maing torso (that part was not so hard, he ) with legs and also one arm (armed with burna) is ready for some minor improvements. I am really looking forward to work on this one (not that the Renegade-guy is any worse ). I'll try to take and post some pics tomorrow. |

| It sounds really interesting, I really like the (former) IG idea... Like you I also only use GS to fill gaps, only thing I ever sculpted is a apron for a ogre butcher, it was harder then i thought, but that should not stop you from trying -Wait: I have also made a loincloth and a gladiator mask, the mask not very good... Here is a link to my ogres if you can use it as insperation: http://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t4029-skavenslayers-journey-down-the-fat-silver-road -Skavenslayer |

| Hehehe... now I have some time (few mins, at least!) The Renegade is ACE! Love the gas mask... nice touch! Where did you got the bionic arm? Pretty cool! The Trash-Kan... EXCELLENT! Love the crude interface (OUCH!!!) and the blockiness. It seems like a proto-type, which is exactly what is supposed to be! Very wacky. Are you planing to NOT cover the 'glass"? Would be cool to be able to 'see' the pilot! Definitely... you should make a log for the Trash-Kan alone (so it is not with your Prisoner... unless you plan to send the Ork monstrosity too! _________________ . | Thanks for comments The Trash-Kan is one of prisoner possibilities (I have not decided whether I will send the Kan on the Renegade yet). The bionic arm on the Renegade is from cadian command box. I just cut off the shoulder pad and repositioned it a little bit (and replaced the powersword with the standard issue laspistol). As to the Trash-Kan and visibility of the pilot: I will paint the "glass", but the front part will be made from plasticard and there will be part of the armor missing, so the pilot is visible... and you can also see him through opened hatch on the top. |

| Both models are going to be very cool. The positioning of the bionic arm give probably my favourite IG/renegade pose (they really should do a bionics bitz pack at GW).
The trash kan looks far too painful for the pilot!

Yes, they should. It could make for really interesting conversion. I know only of Microarts Studio doing some bionic conversion packs, but it can get a bit pricey :/ And I think it's not plastic which makes it less useable.

Oh yeah. But you know - the pilot is crazy enough to not care |

| Small update on Trash-Kan: Navigator assembled and placed where he belongs: (Still have to sculpt the right hand holding the hatch) Almost POV of the Navigator: Update on Burna-hand: And whole new "Buzz-Claw" I ran out of glue yesterday evening (and I am lazy to go get new one today) so now I am going to do some greenstuffing on both Renegade and Trash-Kan (as well as on some IG-men I still need to finish). I hope I'll have some new pics of Renegade soon. |

| FANTASTIC WORK! The I.G. is a GREAT minis, but the Trash Kan is on an entirely different level of craftsmanship...that is a TRULY AMAZING, INCREDIBLY INSPIRED PIECE. It is scant wonder that you have become my hero. |
