| Thanks guys. going to start work on it now! just home and fed time ot get modeling!
with regards to the dichloromethane, you can stilll buy it and use it at your peril, I think in small usage as in miniatures everything will be ok, as long as no skin contact or inhilation, It was only banned in the use of paint strippers,
http://www.europarl.europa.eu/sides/getDoc.do?language=en&type=IM-PRESS&reference=20090113IPR46095
It is still widley used, but I have not used it in years, though it does give a great bond!
anyways back to the tutorial I will be back with the next installment, maybe the final??? ill see how much I get done!

| Picking up from last time, I started sculpting the belt, basically roll a thin sausage of green stuff, and makea belt around the waist, Smothe this out, you wont get this perfectly straight and some trimming with a nice saliva coated blade will do the trick! next I sculpter a small square in the abdomen region, and flattened this out dont worry about messing up the front of the belt, this will be covered (for the last true scale marine, I used guitar strings as the power chords in this area, I am trying my hand at sculpting and trying to improve!) I then put some indents into the abdomen to symbolise the power chords (i really messed this up later on so if you see it change its becasue i changed the style of it!) next you want to add in a small belt buckle sized shape and shape it as square as you can Now on to some minor detailing I start on the bottom of the legs, with again a small thin sausage of green stuff, flatten this and smooth out next you want to add some notches and scarring into here if your doing a chaos marine! and do the same fo rthe other leg! Next I positioned the arms to check out the proportions Now here i notticed the proportions look all off, I am quite unhappy with this :/ so i tried to repair it by increasing the size of this thighs... What do you think? I then copied and pasted this image ito paint, to trace the outline of the marie inside the armour, to see if the proportions look right.. Ill do seom more soon for you guys, he is nealy finnished I might redo the torso, dependant on what you guys think. Me personaly, I think he needs some refinement and some filing down, he looks a bit fat! let me know what you think please thanks |

| You can draw too?!?! By The Emperor's Athlete's Foot!!! It is like talking to DeafNala about painting... hehehehe I think it looks SUPER. You could add some chains (plastic or 'real' from hobby jewelery) as well as few symbols... but the proportions seem fine to my untrained (pathetic) eyes. You make this look so easy it is NOT funny! | Try adding a little bit of height to the head. It look's like he's straining to look over the collar. Awesome tutorial. I'm tempted to try it myself |

| Looks great. I really like how this tutorial shows how to layer greenstuff. I often get a little overzealous and try to sculpt detail and shapes at the same time. I especially like the stomach cables (I know how hard they are to sculpt) and the details on the bottom of the leg guards. |

| Yes, the key is to be patient with it! And let layers dry, its much easier to do it when you are doing a batch of them im working on him just now hopefully the final part will be done by tomorrow |

| Hi guys! finnaly found some free time! hope you all had a great christmas. (for those of you who celebrate it!) A small update here just on hte knee pads and detailing, i think he is pretty much done now, will update some more pics for you guys when there is some better light, 2 am here! :p anyway thin sausage of GS along the top and bottom of the torso, and smooth out and shape add dinks if you wish! (you will nottice things changing as the photos progress, this is just me changing my mind and being pickey!) next add some small lumps of GS to the knees, and shape how you want, here i tried both ways, here i tried smoothing it all out in the end i did not like it so went for some pads And the next steps are all just peicing together, tidying up, filling holes and gluing accessories or more skulls on! the next photos you will see will be him finnished and painted hope you have liked it and will try this out for yourselfs! post up your true scale marines or progress as well so I can see XD untill the next time, may the force be with you |

| Looks good. Lots of work! Have you tried building one with just the armature? You are basically resculpting all of the parts. Looking forward to seeing it painted. |

| I would agree 100% with Narcissus. I really like what you have done... I can barely handle adding few things with GW, but what you do is somewhat intimidating. I mean you are almost doing stuff from scratch with ease! Hehehehe... NO MATTER... YOU RULE! _________________ . The Mordheimer - Death Squads' Chief Editor & Ninja Designer.
