| this year I finally got something I actually wanted. and it was my Daughter's idea [she is 5 years old] "Mummy we can buy daddy some toys" So today we took a drive [45minutes] and got daddy a box of IG cadians shock troops so I can redo my IG list. | Well he is sort of right...
The Mother's day is an ancient greek tradition, even related to some pagan beliefs....
the connection to hitler was mainly around him giving "mother's of Germany" medals for their work to the people of Germany [eg by keeping their kids alive]. Those with 4 kids got a bronze medal, 6 kids silver medal and those with 8 or more got a gold medal. the other thing was that Hitler may have changed the national mothers day for Germany to his birthday or his mother's [most likely his mothers]
