| Come one come all!! GW just put up some new models for DE up for advance orders. In Particulars: Beastmasters  Khymera (1 and 2).   Clawed Fiend  Razorwing flocks (MY ABSOLUTE FAV!! My little birdies have chewed through so many units its not even funny!).  Succubus (absolute NASTY CC unit, and can be geared to absolute wreak ICs and MC, and ruin there attacks back if they are not killed outright)

| Man those are absolutely beautiful...Im always game for some of the lesser xenos and monster type critters for our skirmish games. Now I want to see the official take on the archons court models |

| More beautiful models for the dark eldar. An excellent and consistent line is what so many people have been waiting for. I bought the kabalite warriors just for the sake of the models (I'll probably do it for the wyches and the jet bikers eventually. I just hope the next 40k release is comparable to this (and that some of the rumours aren't true!) Laney  |

| Wow, those models are awesome. Can't wait what they have in store for Wracks, Grotesques and most of all the flyers |

| The models are for sure cool, but Ive found the way the clawed feind plays in game is not all that special. Frankly I'd rather have a ton of razorwing flocks (5 beastmasters and 10 flocks for 60 S3 rending attacks on the charge anyone?). Just ask Jd3 about how effective they are, and Mord can attest to this as well.
But GW has surely shot themselves in the foot with this release. Any decent sized beastmaster unit is going to run you from $100 to $150 bucks. Not to mention the fact that they are ALL metal. I like the beastmaster, and may purchase one just to have a "leader" type in the unit, but the rest are going to be converted from a box of Helions and bits that I have from my Wyches. The truly sad part is this: To create ONE 40mm base of Razorwing flocks from GW costs $12.25 which literally look just like a crow, or go to Forge World and get the Flying Rippers which cost $28 and create THREE bases of "Razorwing Flocks". Not to mention the fact that the flying rippers look more like something that would come out of Commorragh. Who would have thought that buying from Forge World would be the cheaper option!!

| I LOVED the Succubus model. WOW! I was very disappointed at the Razorwing Flocks... you may as well buy "MURDER OF CROWS - Reaper Dark Heaven Legends" (side) for $5. The Clawed Fiend looks cool... very original model. All in all, great models... shame about being metal.
Although the idea of using Tyranid Rippers with Wings is not bad.

| Here's a great thread with some easy conversions for scourges and khymaeras among some awesome conversion. One of my favourite Dark Eldar conversion threads.
After reading about the work in progress forum I couldn't resist looking their Dark Eldar conversions. I found a cool court of Archon. |
