| Ello.
From the midlands, UK. Gamer first. Happy to play any game any systems, PC, Board game, GW. Although I am tending to towards board and minatures games for the social elements. Do not play to win!
Discovered Minatures games (GW) about 4 years ago. Have dabbled with all of the specialist games but never played any of the core games, as I am too busy / lazy to play / paint armies and much perfer the story line that skirmish allows. Or the epicness that epics allows.
I find that me being new to GW compared to some of my group which have been playing for 15+ years. allows to see rules with fresh eyes rather than assuming rules or comparing rules. (No baggage or wishfull version thinking)
Also played legends of the old west, which is another example of a game where they borrow rules from other systems to make a pretty decent product.
Dyslexic.. so my posts can be a bit hard to read when I am in a hurry, which seems to be always.
I plan to play Rebels, fresh and shiny and corrupt them, some of the models will be done so they can be turned into an IG gang. Planning to run a sneaky grot heavy ork gang, but it seems like a funny idea! |
