| So, I started a true scale CSM, as a practice for an true scale chaos female marine , for my first cultist squad. Well, my first DS squad to be honest. Here are few pics as I am more hobbyst than a gamer, well, before I found out DS Legs are copied Space Hulk terminator legs, that's why they're white, torso is termie in front and regular marine back. My idea is to have him with chain axe, power fist and plain boltgun as I like to see them, relatively, natural Still can't decide for an head, I have plenty of time...so Ok, pics and, yes, the green is GS it's my first try so...be gentle |

| Looks like a cool start - how did you copy the legs (I've tried and failed several times). Slightly bulky around the crotch (I've tended to hide that area with a loincloth to make it easier) My truescales have used terminator legs like yours, but I went for assault marine bodies (less conversion needed and easily take on GS for bulk). I'm looking forward to seeing how this guy turns out. Cheers Laney |

Well, I got a friend that bought some moulding starter kit, rubber molds and two component plastic from some site, for some his projects so I gave him space hulk termies for test molds. It's not some great quality but for this purposes is perfect, anyhow you have to cover most of the legs with a GS. Btw. I don't have spare termies and bitz I ordered are still traveling
I thought about jump bodies too but, again, I don't have any spare but some bitz from scratched marines and, trust me, I just couldn't wait
True scale is chalenge, not so hard but takes a time and practice
New pics soon |

| You're right it takes time and practice - but is also one of the coolest conversion project you can do. Check out my truescale thread further down in painting and modelling I have a couple of chaos marines in there. The GS looks nice and smooth by the way - always difficult to get right. Cheers Laney |
