As ive said, we play gorkamorka, so we only have a couple of stones and hills as scenary, so we have been using boxes as house to play DS. Since i saw Aranchas post, who was my inspiration, i was thinking in make a decent modular terrain for our games.

Yesterday i was working in our first true building. Isnt finished, need more details, but by the moment is enought to start

This is the scenography ive been workin this week, ill add more datails and some paint work next week, but we need it for the weekend, so now have enought details to play ( by the monet... )

I would suggest (not now... but later...) some small vegetation growth, so the building looks like it has been damaged for years. You know, some little scorched grass on the edge of a building. Also, some splash of rust weathering. Other than that... is is shaping to be an AWESOME urban table!

For base i use wood "panels" (dont know the word) of 25cmx25 cm and 5mm tall. Latter y use white glue with sand and some small stones for textures. If needed, i add some briks and cardboard as pieces of fallen walls

Mostly are builds with "carton de proyecto", I dont know the word in english, but i hope you can see what i talking about in the pics




And here is more finished terrain, and a 2 floor house, where you can take out the second floor to play indide the first door
