| Found the following points on the Imperial Renegades.
"Extra Arm" entry says: "Alternatively, he may carry a shield or a in the extra arm."
"Poisonous Spit" entry says: "During close combat, the mutant maybe able to generate..." It should say "may be".
Not a typo but still might need revision. On p. 175 in "Choice of units" section it states that "You may not have more than six officers." However, the total number of officers available to Imperial Renegades is five, if I'm not mistaken. This might lead to confusion. |

| Extra Arm: Gulp! I see we screw up! DOZER!?! Help... we are missing something! Poisonous Spit: Noted for change. Thanks! Amount of Officers: Not a Typo, but seems to be unclear. You may only hire 5 Officers (as per Choice of Units), so the only way you could get the 6th Officer is by the advancement of a Recruit via The Lad Got Talent. Some Squads (achoo... Chaos Cultists...ooo!) may only hire 5 Officers and their maximum is 5 Officers... this means that Recruits can never advance to Officers. This makes the Officers of the particular Squad SUPER valuable, and thus the Squad harder to play. _________________ . The Mordheimer - Death Squads' Chief Editor & Ninja Designer. | Extra Arm: It should say.... "or a two handed weapon in the extra arm with a normal arm to help carry the weapon." _________________ Adeptus Astartes Commandments 1. | So if a recruit advances and I already have five officers, does that mean i can disregard the officertype limit? So I can have 3 Renegade Sergeants or 2 Preachers or even 2 commanders? |

| No.
As described on each recruit (under Path of Promotion) most Recruits become 'generic' Officers, which basically indicates that they now advance on the Officer table, can use Officer gear, can get Skills and roll on the Serious Injury Table (post-game) when they go Out Of Action (OOA). _________________ . | Ok, here is the path progression of the Officers.
You do your initial recruiting:
You can hire Max to start: 1 Commander (Must have, and you may only have 1 Commander at any given time) 1-2 Enforcers (Must have 1, and you may only have Max of 2 Enforcers at any given time) 0-2 Sergeants (You may only have max 2 Sergeants at any given time)
Which means MAXMIMUM amount of Officers you can have is 5 upon the initial recruitment (thats before you play your first game).
Now that you have 5 Officers to start, the max amount of officers you can have, at any given time AFTER intial recruitment is 6. Which means that for you to fill your last officer slot, you must roll a Lad's Got Talent for a recruit to fill the Officer slot. Reason being is that you cannot recruit anymore Officers (commanders, enforcers or sergeants) because you have hit the maximum amount allowed when you first did your recruiting.
Does that make it easier to understand? I can see what you are thinking, and that was not what was intended. If you check out the Officers section on Page 60 of TLRB 4.4 it describes briefly how it works. _________________ Adeptus Astartes Commandments 1. I will make sure I get the clarification note on TLRB. A nice Grey-box will be added on Page 60. _________________ . The Mordheimer - Death Squads' Chief Editor & Ninja Designer. Support Bacteria; it is the ONLY culture some people have! . |

Haha!! If there is one problem that we always have, it is that we write the rules assuming everyone understands whats going on. What you brought up with the officers is a prime example. We (the designers) know and understand what is supposed to happen, but when other people who are not familiar with the concept come in the rules do not fully clarify how it was supposed to happen.
As we get deeper and deeper into the rules and squads, we keep having to back track a little bit because people find these.....holes (for lack of a better word). All I can say is if you get stuck on anything please ask, because not only will you be helping yourself out, but it will be helping us out at the same time. _________________ Adeptus Astartes Commandments 1. | I agree! As a matter of fact, the section on TLRB where you found the information is BRAND new to this edition! TLRB v0.3.x did no had it and it was not until someone asked a 'basic' question about Officers that we figured out that we (mainly the idiotic me!) forgot to explain what are they! I'm NOT surprised that you (and many others) will continue to find better ways for TLRB to improve. Keep at it man! We appreciate ALL your observations! _________________ .
